Coachella Quests introduced a new way to play at the festival - turning exploration into a living game that unfolded across physical and digital space. Built as a mobile-first experience, Quests invited fans to follow their curiosity, rewarding movement, discovery, and participation throughout the weekend.
Cenima led creative direction for both the digital game and the physical manifestation within the Quests Hideaway, a themed lounge where fans could onboard, collect prizes, and find refuge in a chill oasis.
Rather than ask fans to learn new behaviors, Quests adapted to how they already moved through Coachella. Stages, installations, mobile experiences, and online spaces became part of a single playful system, scaling with participation and evolving with each interaction. The result was an experience-led use of emerging technology - designed for fun first, and built to grow with the festival over time.
